That picture IS pretty bitchin. Is bitchin still a word? Anyways, can't wait to hit that with ya in August / September. Basically everywhere you see woodwork on that trail, its there because whats underneath has been eroded away, or would be instantly eroded away by riding on it. The concept of 'perfectly rideable dirt' on the north shore doesn't last long if you don't protect it. On Ladies, you get to ride 'perfectly rideable rock' instead :) 
I'm all for the Fox man. It may be just bad luck, but I've had a lot of bad luck with Marzo and Rockshox lately. That looks like a pretty reliable build. The hammerschmidts seem to hold up real well also.
Oooooh my god that's one of the sickest builds I've ever seen. Classy job, sir. Brilliant!
